Why I’m Sweatn’ It

 In Sweatn' It

My heart was pounding so loud that I could feel the vibration in my ears drowning out the sounds around me. My hands were still clenched showing the whites of my knuckles and I was aware that my legs were shaking and may give at any moment. The rush of adrenaline was exhilarating and exhausting. My face flushed with heat and the taste of salt dripped down the corners of my mouth. My jaw began to release and give way to a smile and I pushed through the burning breaths of air in my chest. I was on the top of a mountain. I wanted to relive it all over again. I felt alive.

I was dripping with sweat.
